2003 Season
2002 Season

I first competed in trials on a Honda TL125 at the age of 17.

I enjoyed riding between the sections more than the trial itself!, so at the age of 19 I took up motocross and rode at AMCA expert level until 2001.

In1997 I started to combine road racing on a Suzuki RGV 250 with my scrambling.

After a couple of years I moved on to a 1993 Yamaha TZ 250 GP which I raced at club level for 2 years winning the Derby Phoenix Championship. It was during this period that I met the late Toddy Easton of Eastonfabs in Burton who became my first ever sponsor and a great supporter of my racing.

I then purchased a newer machine - A 1998 Honda RS 250 GP, had the engine tuned by Trevor Smedley and won the Derby Phoenix Championship and the New Era Championship.  I set a new race record at Darley Moor for the lightweight class last year.

My Bike is a V twin 2 stroke GP class machine. It makes 83 b.h.p. and runs on 100 octane rated aviation fuel and is capable of 150 mph. It has a dry clutch and a 6 speed gear box.

The bike is prepared and maintained by myself and mechanic Mick Hurt.
